Apply OnlineAt Kuendrup Institute of Information Technology (Kuendrup IIT), we believe that education should not only teach students what to think but also how to think. Our goal is to empower learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in today’s fast-changing world.
Quality Education with a Practical Focus
We design our programs to match what the real world needs. Our students don’t just learn theory, they learn how to apply what they study. Whether it’s IT, Engineering, or other technical fields, our curriculum includes hands-on training, real-life projects, and practical exercises that prepare students for actual work environments.
Qualified and Dedicated Faculty
Our instructors are passionate educators and professionals who support every student’s growth.
Safe and Supportive Environment
We provide a warm and respectful learning atmosphere where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged. Mental well-being, student engagement, and emotional support are important to us. Kuendrup IIT is not just a place to study -it’s a second home where you grow in confidence and character.
Focus on Employability and Career Growth
With hands-on training and project-based learning, our students graduate ready for jobs or further education.
Values, Discipline, and Community
At Kuendrup IIT, we nurture not just academic success, but personal growth, responsibility, and values.
The Institute began its journey as a private school and has proudly served the country for nearly two decades under the directives and guidance of the Ministry of Education. In response to the evolving national education framework—particularly the elevation of the basic education benchmark to Class XII—the institute underwent a major transformation.
In 2022, with approval from the Royal Government of Bhutan, the institute was officially upgraded to an institute. This transition marked a significant milestone in its mission to provide quality technical education.
Currently, the institute offers two-year training programs designed to address the learning needs of two distinct groups:
Class XII graduates, who are entering the technical stream for the first time, and
NC III graduates, who require more advanced vertical learning to enhance their skills and career prospects.
Our curriculum is carefully designed to ensure both horizontal learning (broad foundational skills) and vertical learning (in-depth specialization), aligning with national workforce requirements and international competency standards.
We offer separate boarding facilities for both boys and girls, ensuring safety and comfort. Each room accommodates 2–3 students, providing a homely and focused living environment.
Our library is equipped with a wide range of books, journals, and learning materials to support academic and technical development.
We believe in the holistic development of our students. Our sports facilities encourage active lifestyles and team spirit, both essential to personal growth.
With campus-wide internet access, students can stay connected, access online resources, and enhance their digital literacy.
